SWIT founder, Dr. Justin Grimes has extensive years of experience and training in higher education recruitment and retention. SWIT consults with schools, departments, faculty, or staff in higher education looking to improve their recruitment and retention strategies. Whether it’s current undergraduate students, employees, or individuals who have been working in a specific field or career for a number of years; SWIT wants to help you successfully address barriers, while identifying, attracting, and bringing the best individuals to your institution. Beyond recruitment, SWIT can assist you with recognizing individual and collective talents and skills needed to improve employee retention.
Consultations with SWIT are 30-60 minutes of conversations with 10 or fewer individuals (virtual only). Every office, department, or institution has a different need. Should we waive the GRE, why aren’t more students of color interested in our program, how do we increase our applicant numbers for a position are just some of the questions SWIT can help you address.
